• What is Spiritual Direction?

     

    There are times when we may all benefit from the encouragement, advice, and guidance of those who have trodden the spiritual path before us. The ancient practice of spiritual direction encourages spiritual growth and maturity.

     

    In spiritual direction a believer meets regularly with their director. The frequency of meetings is decided by you. They may be weekly, monthly, or quarterly - whatever works best for you.

     

    Spiritual direction permits great breadth of scope in exploring and developing spirituality. It can be used to explore questions of faith, to develop spiritual disciplines, or to deepen one's relationship with God, to name just a few possible outcomes.

  • Spiritual Direction - What does it cost?

    There is no standard fee or agreed fee scale for spiritual directors. Some ask a fixed fee for their services, while others accept a 'free will offering' of any amount, and some give their services free of charge. Most charge between $50 and $150 per session. We suggest that those who use our spiritual directors offer a minimum gift of $50 per session for this valuable service.
